Feelings of disdain arise
as the connection is lost
and I’m pushed back to a place
where it is as real as it gets:
the Present.
A gift that truly matters,
and lasts a lifetime is the knowledge of self;
Wisdom and understanding comes along the way,
and where the will to survive grows, there is no decay.
Living in the moment is the ideal
for a purposeful life fulfilled.
When there is no past and no future on the brain,
There is no stress nor worries in your lane.
